The Passport Index ranks 0+ passports by their travel freedom. Each passport is scored based on how many countries its holders can visit visa-free, with visa-on-arrival, or with an e-visa. A higher score means more travel freedom without a traditional visa application.
The visa-free score counts the number of countries you can enter without a pre-approved visa. This includes visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival, and e-visa destinations. The ranking is sorted by visa-free count first, then by total easy-access destinations.
Our visa requirement data is sourced from the Passport Index database, cross-referenced with official government immigration sources. We track visa-free, visa-on-arrival, e-visa, and visa-required status for every country pair.
