When I was a high school kid in Korea, I saved every penny I could for 10 years. Then I finally did it — flew to Hong Kong, Japan, China, then across Europe: London, Paris, Rome, Switzerland. That trip burned itself into my brain. The chaos of Kowloon at night, the silence of the Swiss Alps, getting lost in Rome with no plan and loving every second of it.

That was 12 years ago. I haven't left Korea since.
Life happened the way it does. Got a job at a big corporation in Seoul, climbed the ladder, did all the things you're supposed to do. But if you know ENFP energy, you know we don't do "routine" well. After work, I'd rent a car and just drive — no destination, no plan, just go. Somewhere. Anywhere. That was the only way I could breathe.
But it wasn't enough. Every day the same office, the same commute, the same four walls. Meanwhile those memories from 12 years ago kept getting louder. The feeling of landing in a city you've never seen. The conversations with strangers that change how you see the world. I miss that so much it physically hurts.
So I started building NomadFast — not as someone who's already out there, but as someone who's desperate to be. I built the tool I wish I had: real data on cost of living, internet speed, safety, visa rules, flight deals — everything a nomad needs to pick their next city, all in one place. No fluff, no Instagram-filtered advice. Just data.
This is more than a website to me. I'm pouring my heart into building a community for people like us — people who feel most alive when they're somewhere new. I'll be writing about my own journey as it unfolds: the cities, the people, the stories. Every meetup, every late-night conversation, every "I can't believe I'm actually here" moment.
Always ready to meet. Always ready to leave.
If that sounds like you, come join us.
